Opening in 1984, and playing just over 6400 yards from the back teeing area, the North Course at Bowling Green Country Club is the more challenging of our two championship layouts.

A longtime favorite of both members and guests alike, this “18” is devilishly carved along a winding creek bed that makes its presence felt on 13 of the 18 holes. A nice blend of hardwoods and pine trees line most of the fairways, and not only add to the character of this quaint design, but also help to frame most of the fairways, making an accurate tee shot a must. The signature 4th hole is one of the most challenging par 3’s in the Shenandoah Valley, forcing golfers to carry their tee ball over water to a finely manicured putting surface that is surrounded by the pond on three sides.

With gently rolling, tree-lined fairways and delicately sloping surfaces for putting, the North Course at Bowling Green offers challenges for golfers of all ability levels.
