Shenandoah Valley Senior Golf League

Bowling Green Country Club is proud to announce that the club has joined the Shenandoah Valley Senior Golf League for the 2010 Season.

The S.V.S.G.L. was formed and exists for the purpose of developing and fostering a competitive relationship among men ages 50 and over. The league currently consists of the following clubs: Bowling Green Country Club, Bryce Resort, Gypsy Hill Golf Course, Jackson’s Chase Golf Club, Lakeview Golf Course, and The Shenvalee.

Each club will play a home match and an away match with all participating clubs. Matches consist of two man teams playing better ball against a two man team from the opposing club. All matches will use 100% of the players USGA handicap. Handicaps for individuals will be based on the lowest handicap player in the foursome.

Matches begin in April 2010 and run through September of 2010 with the Year End Tournament set to be held on September 30, 2010 at Gypsy Hill Golf Club.
